“DOUALA WILL BE A VERITABLE TOURISTIC SITE”
How will this edition be different from that of last year?
“Last year, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Music, Arts and Commercial trade fair code name “FOMARIC.” It was hit and the turnout was huge more than any other previous edition. We will even do more during this edition.”
What are the expected innovations?
There are many novelties. There is provision for children to entertain themselves after school on Wednesdays. Winners of talented young singers’ and choral music competitions will take home prizes as well as have their works produced in an album by FOMARIC organisers. More so, local and foreign communities living in Cameroon like the Senegalese, who have already confirmed their participation, will exhibit their cultures on Sundays.
This will take the form of a contest. Ancestral dances are also programmed. In addition, music concerts featuring artists of different genres and generations will be served to the public and projected on giant screens that will erected around the trade fair ground. Douala will be a veritable touristic site.
