Amammoth crowd was present at the Bafoussam Sports Complex on 4 August 2018 to watch the official launch of this year’s 7th “FESTI SPORTS”, a holiday championship sponsored by Pascal Kante Nguite, deputy S.G, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

 Chairing the holiday championship grouping some 30 football teams, 13 handball teams, 11 volleyball and 10 basketball teams, the 1st Assistant SDO for Mifi, Kono Julien Gael, thanked the main organizer, Pascal Kante Nguite for the initiative that has brought together holiday markers. He said the event will enable the participating young girls and boys of the championship to compete in other competitions at the national and international levels in future.

 Lea Kante, who represented her husband at the ceremony, said the holiday championship is aimed at emphasizing the role of youths in society. FESTI-SPORTS championship is expected to round-up on Saturday, 25 August with finals in the various sports disciplines.
