After his defeat to Japan’s Ry?ta Murata last October 22, 2017, Hassan N’dam bounced back by defeating English man Martin Murray and become new WBC Silver Middleweight champion. Born on February 18, 1984, Hassan N’dam’s career came to the limelight in 2003 during the All- Africa Games when he won a silver medal after he was defeated in the finals by Egyptian Ramadan Yasser.

This exposure qualified him for the Olympic Games where he reprsented Cameroon in 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Immediately after the Games, Hassan N’dam having no means to box professionally in his Native Cameroon, moved to France to take his career to the next level. His first professional bout was on December 4, 2004 against Alexis Culit winning in the third round. Njikam then won his first title via unanimous decisions over Avtandil Khurtsidze at the Palais des sports Marcel-Cerdan for the vacant WBA Interim Middleweight belt.

In 2016, after defending and winning the WBO interim Middleweight title, Hassan N’dam chosed to box for his native Cameroon during 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic Games. His return was a great experience for other boxers like of Wilfried Seyi. Hassan N’dam with 40 bouts to his credit and 37 victories (21 K.O) and only three losses, had his most controversial boout against Japanese Ry?ta Murata. After he won through split decision on May 27, 2017, the two judges who scored the fight for N'Dam N'Jikam were immediately suspended and WBA president Gilberto Mendoza issued a public apology. A rematch was immediately ordered by the WBA. Hassan N’dam recently got married to Lisa in France.
